Od 2007 roku oczy pojawiają się w moich obrazach, jako centralny element.
Nie są wyborem estetycznym. Są symbolem psychologicznym. Odnoszą się do wyostrzonego postrzegania, wrażliwości oraz napięcia pomiędzy widzeniem a niewidzeniem. Spojrzenie w moich obrazach rzadko bywa niewinne, pyta, chłonie, konfrontuje, jest świadkiem. Ma w sobie moc świadomości i doświadczeń. To także współpraca ze wspomnieniami i całym ich bagażem i z naszym wewnętrznym dzieckiem. I właśnie to tworzy tożsamość, synergia dziecięcej odwagi, niewinności i świadomości dorosłego, z tego dualizmu wywodzi się forma postaci, które stały się głównym tematem mojego malarstwa. Oczy pełnią funkcję metafory, nie słodyczy, lecz świadomości, kruchości i emocjonalnej ekspozycji. Oczy nie są dekoracją. Są granicą, bramą, lustrem. |
Since 2007, eyes have appeared in my paintings as a central element.
They are not an aesthetic choice, they are a psychological symbol. They reflect heightened perception, sensitivity, and the tension between seeing and not seeing. The gaze in my works is rarely innocent. It questions, absorbs, confronts, and witnesses. It carries the power of awareness and experience. It is also a collaboration with memories, their weight, and our inner child. This is what shapes identity, the synergy of a child’s courage and innocence with an adult’s consciousness. From this duality emerges the form of the figures that have become the main focus of my painting. Eyes serve as a metaphor, not for sweetness, but for awareness, fragility, and emotional exposure. Eyes are not decoration. They are a boundary. A gateway. A mirror. |
